The Law and Mediation Office of David C. King represents employees in the litigation of  employment law cases including wrongful employment termination, employment discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour law, trade secrets litigation, contract disputes and contract drafting.

David C. King has over 25 years of litigation and trial experience. His practice focuses on employment and labor related cases including California Fair Employment & Housing Act, Federal Title VII discrimination, Americans with Disabilities Act, California Family Rights Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, wrongful employment termination, whistleblower, wage and hour, trade secrets, employment contract and other related employment cases. Mr. King has litigated approximately 150 employment law cases on behalf of employees and employers in state, federal and administrative courts. He has obtained settlements on behalf of plaintiffs’ of  $1,000,000.00 or more on four occasions and settlements or jury verdicts in other cases in excess of $100,000.00 on over 20 other occasions.

Over the course of Mr. King’s career, he has advised and/or represented over 1000 employees and businesses in non-litigation related matters pertaining to state and federal employment law.  He has also litigated and/or tried cases in non-employment fields, including personal injury, real estate fraud, False Claims Act and general business disputes.

He serves as a panelist in the annual Sonoma County Bar Employment Law Year in Review, which analyzes California and federal employment cases and laws and presents this research to Bar Association members.

Mr. King also works as a litigation mediator for employment, personal injury, consumer law and business and contract disputes.
